Here we have a selection of images, and information for a the preserved aircraft within the county.

Anglia Cafe, Fleet Hargate

The cafe is located on the A17, and the aircraft is in the car park, so there is ample parking etc. There is normally a bucket in front of the aircraft, for donations. So please make a contribution.

Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre

The Heritage centre can be found at North Rauceby, close to RAF Cranwell. Please contact the centre first for opening hours. Entrance to the centre is free of charge.

Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre

The aircraft is housed within the museum at East Kirkby, so entry is necessary to view the aircraft. There is ample car parking, and there is a charge to enter the museum.

Metheringham Visitor Centre

The visitor centre can be found at the junction of the B1189 and B1191. The aircraft is located near the Hunter FGA.9 and the other Jet Provost and is in excellent condition.

North Coates Airfield

This aircraft spends most of it's days safely within the hangar at the former RAF airfield, but can be viewed outside at the various events held there. Anyone wishing to view the aircraft should contact the North Coates Flying Club first.

The aircraft is located in the garden of Charles Ross, Chairman of the the Lightning Association. Mr Ross is happy for people to view the aircraft, but only by prior arrangement. So please contact him first.

This aircraft can be found at the HAS site for XI Squadron, and viewed through the chain link fence. Please do not tamper with the fence in anyway.

This Harrier is preserved within the No.3(F) Squadron HAS complex and acts as the Squadron gate guard. It cannot be viewed without first gaining permission from the station.

This aircraft is is one of many gate guards at the RAF station. It can not be seen from the road, therefore you must first gain permission, in order to view it.

The aircraft can be seen clearly from the A15. Please park in the Sentry Post car park directly across from the aircraft. The car park is free, there is also a cafe and toilets on site.

Skegness Water Leisure Park

After standing outside the Elms Golf Centre for many years, this aircraft can now be found at the Skegness Water Leisure Park. She has been fully re-assembled in her new home, and can still be easily accessed. But please seek permission before walking over to her.

Thorpe Camp Visitor Centre

The visitor centre can be found on the B1192. The aircraft can be seen clearly from the car park at the visitor centre. The car park is free, but there is a charge for entry to the centre.

Wickenby Airfield
